Fred Trumpy

Since his start in instruction in 2002, Fred has dedicated himself to working with today’s up and coming percussionist; developing their talent and creativity. He currently is an Adjunct at the City University of New York Queens College, instructs at the United Nations International School Queens and Manhattan Campus, The Kupferberg Center’s CASA Program, Midori and Friends, and Cambria Center for the Gifted Child as well as private instruction. Fred’s experience extends to all levels of playing, from drumset to classical percussion, improvising, reading music, and audition preparations. He is well versed in NYSSMA, ABRSM, and college audition preparation.
